bummed out

i went to the kout compound the other day (i think it was wednesday) we hung out for a few hours till that movie we reserved for is on (we were there sinse 9-ish pm, movie's at 1 am)..

the movie's called The Longest Yard starring adam sandler and chris rock (chris dies in the middle and that sucks! :|), i had a great laugh, the movie's a remake of a 1974 one, i loved how nelly made his part show up real good in the movie and how he stood out better than the other characters, loved his promotional video clip and how adam gets out of the ride at the end of it, big big laugh!,

if you haven't checked it out yet you really should, it's better than the other "summer busters" around, specially the spooky ones :|, we were aiming for an egy movie called "bo7a" starring that weirdo dude that made the funniest egy movie out there in 2 parts (what's it's name again?), i'm not really into egy movies but i do go if i heard that it's good (aka ending up having a big laugh out of it), but nvm that.., i don't go to the movies much nowadays god knows why..

i'm bored dammit bored BORED!!!, i have this urge to go out as much as i can probably cause i'm sick of the routine (home->institute->home, YAWNER!), i'd go out cruizing, checking out new movies at a coca cola serving theatre, and um.., uh that's about it :|

yadda yadda.., i think i'm getting an hp ipaq pocket pc (aka i-mate to you nice product generalizing people) off a trusted friend of mine for a good price!, at last a decent pocket pc with a fairly better battery life PLUS an extra one!, i really wanted one as soon as the trend hit the land over here and i had the chance to play with a few of 'em whenever i had the chance, i fell in love really, a phone + practically a mini pc with a big fat screen LOL well.., i liked it, fairly clean and well taken care of with a really decent price!, i thought it was better buying it off a friend than a ripoff random cellphone dealer, oh well I'LL BE OWNING A POCKET PC so what the hell! :D

hope you have a unboring day

i have a vision.., and i see me with an iBook G4 in it!

i passed by an Apple Mac dealer at Muthana with a friend of mine this afternoon and they rock!, their prices are kinda fair compared to others of dealerships that i heard of,

i stayed for a whole hour chatting with the guy about macs and their specs and prices here and it was funny how they didn't expect me to have some sort of knowledge of computers and macs in general :P, it was funny really cause i kept battering them about their pricing mechanism per product, my friend wanted a powerbook and he was shocked when he heard "straight 800 kds" coming out of the guy's mouth!, LOL i laughed and checked the specs and they were reasonable for a current 15inch powerbook model,

i was particularly interested in both mac mini (CUTE little thing!, i didn't expect it was *that* small!) and the iBook (which was "out of stock") and he gave me prices that were *kinda* reasonable, the *lesser* mini costs 210 kds and the other one with decent specs costs 240, i loved the little thing but i don't really have any need for it cause i already have a cluttered desk with 2 desktop PCs on it,

12inch iBook G4i REALLY wanted the iBook laptop and i wanted to give it a test drive but lucky me there wasn't any in stock, the new iBook is out now (thanks for the tip mark) and i told the dealer guy about it and he said he'll give me a call later on for a "negotiation" about the pricing and time of arrival!, i even convinced my friend to get the 12 incher one too so we'll probably get more decent pricing (sneaky me :P)

i've decided to get that beauty and i will (i hope), you can't even imagine the things i'll be doing on this cute innocent thing *evil laugh*, from tweaking OS X to installing a linux ppc (probably Ubuntu, i love that distro) and impressing the idiots that think windows is the sole operating system for a PC or that macs are strictly business issued kind of computers lol..

don't forget to make some space me q80 mac elitists (total compliment btw :P) i'll be on the stream pretty soon! :D

have a good day

my blogging personality

i was checking out purg's triangular blog and passed by this post by shosho and i loved the idea! thanks shosho :D, though i was disappointed when i checked that the questions were few and short :P lol, i went ahead and did it and it was fun!

Your Blogging Type is Pensive and Philosophical
You blog like no one else is reading...
You tend to use your blog to explore ideas - often in long winded prose.
Easy going and flexible, you tend to befriend other bloggers easily.
But if they disagree with once too much, you'll pull them from your blogroll!

"But if they disagree with once too much, you'll pull them from your blogroll!" i totally disagree with that! :P, i tend (at least try) to respect other opinions or just simply ridicule them if their opinion was hilarious :P hehe

it's fun!, you should give it a try, have a nice weekend everyone! :D

i thought being tagged was fun..

but i was wrong :P,

note to self: READ the questions before whining about being tagged or not, specially to SwAir :P hehe (lol j/k, thanks hun ;D)

here we go:

1. What does 'love' mean to you?

if i ever try to describe it it'll take a whole day cause i've been there.., it's an indescribable feeling..

2. What does 'marriage' mean to you?

commitment to one another, being there for each other in happiness, sadness, etc.

3. Do you believe in 'love at first sight?

yes, but i only believe it happens once!, i believe in likeness at first sight too and that could happen a lot thus potentially develop into average love.

4. How many children would you like?

omg i dream about having twins!, a boy and a girl AND THAT'S ABOUT IT! (but thanks to my siblings, now i think i hate the thought of even having any children..)

5. If given the opportunity, what is that one song you would sing for me on wedding day?

i would dance with classical 6ag6egat e3roos, would that be any good? :P

6. What is your favorite holiday destination?

UAE!, amsterdam (omg i watched a documentary about it the other day and i almost melted down!), probably the usa too but i don't think it's the right time to do it in the near future (THANKS A LOT YOU IGNORANT JIHADIST WANNABE BASTARDS!!#%@%!)

7. What are three qualities you would look for in a woman?
  1. intelligent
  2. logical
  3. modest
8. What are the three qualities and three bad habits that you have?

Qualities :
  1. respectful to others
  2. total tech geek
  3. reasonable(?)
Bad Habits :
  1. lazy (now that's way too common)
  2. total postponer
  3. people phobic (you do the analyzing)
9. Did you have any previous relationships?

yep

10. Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

blurry vision.., probably married (i hope :S) with a job that i like and a home of my own.

my god i spent 40 minutes answering them questions, i didn't feel the time while i wrote all that continuously!

that's about it!, i stand corrected, i actually LOVED answering those questions!, i probably freshet out cause i've never been asked most of these questions, thanks sushi!, you made my day :D

omg.. i live in hell on earth

my god when i got in my car to head back home off the institute my car's heat-o-meter (aka temp thingie on the orange screen) read a blurry 52?°C!, i was like OW MY GOD MY CAR IS MELTING AAAH! LOL, i have this cute little silver (HELL YEAH :D) 2003 Peugeot 3o7 (ookeey.., i just checked it's website thingie and the new 2005 one looks ugly -.-) with blackinteriorr but believe me this little thing is too sensitive, the engine gets weaker and weaker whenever it's a heat fest day out here in kuwait and the the air conditioning sucks more and more LOL, funny thing is that it does GREAT in winter and it goes woosh on the road, it has this tiptronic gear thingie plus a sports button AND this other button with water drop or probably snow drawn on it that i figured was for bad weather handling (like we get any of these often :P)

The Complaint (aka bitching ahead)..

institute sucks nowadays with that instructor chick lecturing us on the great use of the mighty outlook 2k3 and, i just plain hate her cause she acts all serious and snooty (raf3a '7ashemha) plus she's the know it all type and i hate that kind of people too, it's just a 2 bit institute for short termed courses with mostly mature attendees along with them aspiring youngsters (my humble self included :p) taking an hour and a half class per day ya3ni so i dunno why she's acting like she's a college professor with her own rules like no chitchat (WHILE SHE'S *NOT* lecturing) not even helping your next seat class mate with a thing or two concerning the damn thing that we're studying (i hate it when she just stands there and give you the look or knocks hard on the damn desk to get our attention), yesterday she gave us a late break at 11:30 (class is from 10:30 to 12 pm) and got back after she did off wherever she went and we didn't notice her, she waited till most of us youngsters got out and poor me was sitting there longer THEN she mentioned that she's not singing us late comers as "attended" on her list thingie, i got real pissed off and blurted out that she gave us the damn late break so it's practically her fault, i went straight to the manager right after to bitch about it and a couple of chick class mates followed me to back me up on it, the manager was nice but we kinda knew that he'll just probably fix the attending issue and that's it, we argued about how strict she was with us and how fast she goes with the lecture (even i, the humble tech fanatic don't get her most the time) and how she doesn't let us speak a damn word to each other and how she wasn't as easy going as the previous instructors yadda yadda, they even sent a couple of "spies" that were suspiciously looking at me and the other youngsters back in the class most of class time, i got the tip off my next seat class mate off instant messaging (LOL funny how useful it could get, thank god for in class internet!) who got the tip off another class mate who was accidentally outside while they (the "spies") were probably discussing tactics outside the class LOL, i didn't give a damn about it really and i kept staring back at them whenever they do, lol another funny thing that they had theircell phoness in their hands glaring at 'em while they're not staring at us, it was real funny that me and my mate kept whispering comments and giving them the big fat smile for the fun of it, i hate how they get protective whenever a student gives them a complaint about their lousy instructors while they should give them the boot and get better qualified easy going yet professional ones instead (yah, keep on wishing..), i don't want to make any trouble with this institute as i had an experience with a freakingly similar incident back when i was on that MCSE course at newhorizons (now known as "human soft" bleh..) and i ended up having an brutal argument with the instructor that had the same damn characteristics as the one i'm with now (both the same nationality, age and know-it-allness, freaky -.-) and her teacher representative boss or whoever the hell she was and surprisingly they didn't do a thing about it too!, she ended up teaching us for the rest of the course and i flunked out and wasted a year and a half and 2k dinars worth of payments yay.., so i set my mind on being really easy going and just give my back to anything i'd have a problem with and just get on with it and get the damn diploma and get the hell outatherer and get me a job so i'd be self dependant money wise yadda yadda..

- End Of Complaint -

just wish me luck guys.., i dunno why i get all those lameass blocker issues whenever i have my mind set on something.., i just wanna get on with me life and enjoy the damn thing and live happily ever after lol :p, oh and you too btw *does peace sign* :D hehe

good luck struggling with the heat in thisovenn that i call home :D

Ta ta for now :p (*cough* hi symb! :D)

wow bloboz, that is so cool!, great idea!

wow, why haven't i thought of That whenever me and a friend had some time!, it looks so cool and urban that i wished i tagged along with DentO so it'd be a cool experience to remember!,

ahh i remember the old days when i used to hop on the public bus (no air conditioning at that time, thank you very much :P) every day at 6pm and sit and wait till it reaches Alrehab complex in hawalli and i buy a another PlayStation game that's cover i liked or randomly chose and get to hang out at the internet cafe in the basement floor and glare for hours at the monitor chatting on irc (wow, YAWNER) and downloading and checking out new programs and play with the operating system's settings randomly :P,

oh and i remember using my left hand with the mouse! LOL now that was really weird cause my right hand was exclusive for feeding purposes hehe, thank god i trained both my hands on doing equal stuff yadda yadda i talk too much lol,

check out the Mission photo gallery (yeah they've planned it for a whole year!) for more pictures! YAY long live the BloBoz style :D

me hates heat at summer and hates cold in winter, is that why i always shower with warm water all year long?, i miss spring.. (LOL YAH as if we even have one! haha)

PS: omg unkymoods is..*gulp*.. dead!! :(

EDIT!: (July 9th) yay my unky thingie's BACK! :D

what a nice summer day

i woke up late today missing my "ms outlook" class (yay, like i need to learn how to use yet another bloated email client..) *bites on whopper jr burger* missed yummy home made lunch and i felt the summer vacation frenzy, as in i felt the need to travel..

i get that a lot of times around the year but this one's special cause i can feel it on other people everywhere i go too, no one answers their phones usually lately (including me) and no one's in the mood to go out cause they can't wait for their scheduled flight to god knows where, not much people online too even the "pretend to be away" guys LOL, you'd check that people are relaxed and bored at the same time too, like they've worked their whole life and they're getting ready to have the vacation of their dreams, pity that i'm not one of them, i get the feeling too but i mostly can't do anything about it and just do whatever i can to keep myself amused most the time :D, can't wait till i get me a job and catch on with the frenzy and fulfill most of my fantasies (which is mostly %75 electronic and tech possessions)..

dreaming on, hoping for stuff.., i think that's probably what's keeping me alive and kicking at the moment, it's just the i got this need TO GOD DAMN TRAVEL anywhere! uae's the first on my list, i think being stuck to this lovely land for 8 damn years is too much for me as a citizen, me wanna go me wanna goo me wants tech eye candy me wants sand surfing (and probably SUV sand surfing too lol :P), i always wanted to screw around with a car in a big biiig empty land lol like a street racer, i think i can do that somewhere in dubai as i heard from someone, just going through the sand hopping around bumps in the sand yaay.. okay enough of that or i'll pack my bags and head to the borders on my own lol :P

have a nice summer everyone, i wish you all fun and amusement elsewhere off the nasty sun heat and the general bad mood in people caused by it!, peace out :D

The LIVE 8 List, end poverty in africa by SIGNING IN YOUR NAME NOW!

end poverty in africa by signing your name at The LIVE 8 List website!

Every single day, 30,000 children die, needlessly, of extreme poverty.

On July 6th, we finally have the opportunity to stop that shameful statistic.

8 world leaders, gathered in Scotland for the G8 summit, will be presented with a workable plan to double aid, drop the debt and make the trade laws fair. If these 8 men agree, then we will become the generation that made poverty history.

But they'll only do it if enough people tell them to.

That's why we're staging LIVE 8. 10 concerts, 100 artists, a million spectators, 2 billion viewers, and 1 message... To get those 8 men, in that 1 room, to stop 30,000 children dying every single day of extreme poverty.

We don't want your money - we want you!

if you're reading this now tune in to MBC 4 or get on your browser online and point it out to AOL Music website to check out the concert that's being held in 8 countries at the same time (well one after another anyways)..

UPDATE: i'd love to get my hands on one of these white wristbands..,
